For its second participation in Paris Photo, Spot Home Gallery from Naples presents a monographic exhibition of French artist Anaïs Tondeur, bringing together two interrelated series: Chernobyl Herbarium and Fiori di Fuoco.
These works enter into a dialogue across distance between two extreme landscapes of the Anthropocene — the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and the Terra dei Fuochi in Campania — where plants continue to grow in soils marked by contamination.
Committed to a new form of political art, Anaïs Tondeur combines the analog processes of early photography with ecological practices.
