The artists that Spot home gallery presents, in dialogue with each other, Michael Ackerman, Adam Grossman Cohen and Luca Anzani, belong to a “family” of photographers who, despite their different research and writing, share the same approach to photography, meant as a subjective and emotional expression of their way of being and experiencing the world. These artists convey a new language that has broken with the traditional canons of ‘beautiful photography’. Their images are often grainy, blurred, blurred, but their subversion goes far beyond the unconventional aesthetic research. It is a question of distance. There is no clear separation between their lives and their photography. The artistic project becomes that of a “life in progress”.
