Rooted in ecological thinking, Anaïs Tondeur develops a poetics of narrative that invites us to think about other ways of inhabiting the world. The projects on view -Carbon Black, Chernobyl Herbarium and Fleurs de feux – unfold through a practice of looking that is conceived as an act of care: a gesture of openness to that which precedes us, escapes us and perhaps looks back at us.
